Hostmonster Review of Customer Problems

Maybe while reading some Hostmonter review or one known Hostmonster review, you may have found some complaints or customers saying that Hostmonster is a scam or had serious issues with the service, but here is the bottom line.

You Need To Look At Averages

As any other hostmonster review will tell you: Every host in the world will have many happy customers and several unhappy customers as well. You have to look at the ratio of happy customer versus the ones that are complaining about the service and in many cases, this is because of bad expectations about the service. Maybe they want to host a super high traffic site on there or run many complicated scripts and have lots of database access and simply this host is NOT priced to bring that kind of service and there is more than one hostmonster review who forgets to tell his.

And if you look at averages, you will see a very low complaint rate with this host. We tested the host ourselves for this hostmonster review and the service is very good. The response time was not the best, but for the price we pay it was very good.

What you often hear from people expecting unreal service

“my account was deactivated for no reason, and customer support sucks”
Others claim that their websites where suspended after adding videos from youtube that they referred as porn.

The first one probably was running a HUGE site and Hostmonster (or any shared host by the way) is not suitable for this task. The second one was out of the terms of service as described in our other hostmonster review.

You will also read something as: “Hostmonster SUCKS!! when it comes to php scripts”. Probably this guy was not running a simple program or script, but a very complicated one that took a lot of CPU to process and for the price of the service, they could not allow some site that consumes ridiculous amount of resources, not a the price offered, this also could vabe been prevented if that guy read our Hostmonster review before buying.

Not all websites are created equal

The majority of websites will consume very low CPU resources, even while using PHP scripts, blogs and databases. There will be a 1% of sites that are huge, complicated or resource intensive that should be hosted on a more powerful server where you are the only one consuming the resources, but obviously that will cost you much more, say like $49 a month typically.

Hostmonster has very little complaints, is one of the top known web hosts in the industry, has more than 700,000 domains registered by them and you don’t get to that size having bad service or support, so you don’t be afraid of this service if your site is not enourmous.

Hope this hostmonster review have clarified this issue.
